Learning, increasing intelligence, becoming more aware, growing in consciousness

Are hardship, difficulties and adversity really our greatest teachers?

Do we really learn the most from when we are most troubled?

But what could ever trouble love?

Here are some ideas to ponder over....

Are our life lessons really lessons, or not?

"The period of greatest gain in knowledge and experience is the most difficult period in one's life."

This is a quote from the Dalai Lama.

Now I would not think of arguing with such an authority as him, but I will question here just why he would say this. What has be based this on, presumably from observation of his own life, and that of other people's lives as well.

The scientists might argue that he is right here.

They would say that the evolutionary principle is in a way one based around learning. Everything improves, and grows in its ability, or knowledge to survive more effectively. Everything learns then. All life is unfolding from an evolutionary blueprint. This law of Evolution controls the way that things evolve.

The religious or spiritual people might also agree with the Dalai Lama here too.

They would say that we all have been created by God with a purpose, and that we have also been given certain gifts that we must develop, or become aware of, or to learn how to best utilise them in our fulfilling of this plan.

The "New Agers" would also tell us that we are here to gain in awareness, or to expand and grow our consciousness.

Does this all mean that we were all created as perfect images of God, but with no substance to us, or as imperfect images of God, but with substance to us, or finally as perfect images with real substance, but which is perhaps hidden from us initially in some way, until we love?

We are born into ignorance, and we need to become somehow aware of this, and to find our way out from there. Perhaps it is our life experiences that lead us out, that is if we can see the lesson of love that is embedded there in each and every one of these experiences there for us to learn and to grow from.

This answer might seem right, but why would it be right though?

Did Jesus Christ also come here to learn, or did he only come here to teach, and to show us the way, by his example?

After all, he said that he was the way, the truth, and the life.

This above reference to Jesus's words, can be found in Saint John's gospel, chapter 14, and verse 6.

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Were we all too steeped in sin, or to asleep to our real selves to be able to learn what we had to learn. Did we really need him as a teacher, or not?

Why didn't God create us as a real son the same as Jesus, rather than just as an ignorant mirror image on the outside, but which still had to be formed, by ourselves on the inside?

The next section will reveal the answers.......

The answers are not answers at all

Just what are the answers to the questions raised above?

Why do we need our eyes opened?

Why do we need to be pushed, or dragged to a higher place, such as heaven presumably is, anyway?

God was not created. God is God. Jesus is God also.

The rest of God's creation was created from God's mind exercising itself in such a way that it could hold what it thought as substance, and as real.

All creation was created from God's mind, but he found that when he created it and then breathed life into it so that it might live autonomously from him, he found that the life so formed was distanced from him, by something that he called sin.

Their piece of God's mind or programming started to work for itself. God knew that the only way this program glitch could be fixed was to inject new ideas, fresh blood, or the energy of love into the programming to remove the self-looping glitch, and to allow it to function in a way that then connected it to all others, including to himself again too.

The great law of love when followed allows this to take place in your life in a way that nothing otherwise can do this is. This is all that you need to do, and all else will be added back to you then.

Lessons are for those who are not loving.

They need steps to reach themselves to a higher platform, but those who love are instantly transported into heaven as they are, and no lesson but love 's law could ever accomplish this for them.

Jesus replied: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

This above quote of Jesus's comes from Saint Matthew's gospel. It is from chapter 22, verses 37 to 40.

This is all that we need to know. All of the other lessons do not need to be searched for. Once we love, love will bring to us all that we need to allow us to fully serve God by our lives, in our lives.

Final words

Life plays itself out in many ways. Our interactions with other people allow for either a good or bad love connection to be made.

The learning is not so much really learning then as much as it is really all about our not grasping that the oneness is within you simply being experienced.

Nothing need ever be learned. You know it all already.

All of life's difficulties come from your forgetting that you already know it all already, and from your getting upset, by your thinking that you do not know it all. or that you need to learn something new now in order for you to cope.

Just love, and the Kingdom of Heaven will open up within side of you. All is perfect when you love perfectly.

Jesus told us this in this great verse, also to be found in Saint Matthew's gospel. This verse is from chapter 6, and verse 33.

"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

For the purposes of my article here, I am reading this verse to say this to me.

But seek first his Love, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you then as well.

God's kingdom after all is one of only love. Love fully and perfectly, and nothing else is ever needed then other than love. Lessons are for those not loving. They simply need to learn how to love, but true loving cannot be learned.

This is the paradoxical nature of God's love.

The only way to love is to love. This is why Jesus told us all to love with all that we have from all whom we are, and to hold nothing back from, or in our loving of God, ourselves, and all other people, and all of creation, as well.

Well Rover when to Mars and became Story is over after getting stuck on a rock.

Romance is for a lifetime not something to get into a mating game.

Why do you keep calling Jesus Christ when there are other religions that provide the same or similarity in teachings wherein they all say Love Life and Life is Love with three major principles: Do Good, Be Good and Receive Good. Read all the religions and see it. This is Religionising spirituality by doing this.

Well you are no one to judge, human, you are put on this planet to live and create your own pathway as with them. They have the same equal rights to live out there not brought into your biased outlook and life for your judgmental needs. This is where most of the world problems lie, you threaten other lives, other civilisations, other lifeforms including your own and destroy the flora and fauna calling it no right to live because we are superior. Hell no, you are not superior, humans are the lowest life forms and the most selfish on this planet and honestly, I would love an animal, plant or a baby/child any day as they are the purest forms of creation which is the miracle of why we are all living with the innocence of life.

Dare you to judge other lifeforms again.

Romance is not some game you play with great words to get into someones' pants, that is just whoring with pay, without pay and feeding on Lust which is part of the Deadly Sins of life.

Thanks for sharing this beautiful post ~ Spirited. This Scripture you highlighted is one of my most favorite Scriptures
"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
I like what you said ~ "God's kingdom after all is one of only love. Love fully and perfectly . . ." I would like to note ~ also ~ that the Scriptures teach us what the 'kingdom of God is ~ in Romans 14:17
for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but RIGHTEOUSNESS and PEACE and JOY in the Holy Spirit. I believe He (the Holy Spirit) will TEACH US the lessons we need to learn ~ if we would only endeavor to get to know Him through prayer and reading and hearing the Scriptures. After all ~ I wholeheartedly believe Romans 10:17 which says FAITH COMES BY HEARING, and hearing by the word of God.

Abundant blessings always.
