A poem by frankieonefire written June 2011 after I moved to a new city. Every poet has a story.

This lenses click constant and
into you I see a change.
Why’s everyone looking this way?

Let it all drop,
plastic rips of google
and play store and an droid with HD.

Haha - You say Rectify
Rectify
A glimpse of lighter days
We’re not listening.
Listening
Grazing at flecks in the ceiling
not pained but pushed about.

I think he hates
but only because
We made out alive.

Hesitation is gone. I pay
You no more mind and you go away.
Away-
Your memory a haze of pretty much
forgotten phrases
No more than grazed.

Your games beneath my snobbery

Dark and dirty all your special secrets devide

but not inside.

and like so many plastic metals made in glass

it falls

and everything crashes from the ski
and inkiness seeps forth from you
and in another galaxy your tale has never been told.

There is no one there to say;

Boo fucking hoo.
