This is my first poetry dedicated to my mother which I had written in 2012.

Let Me Make My Mother Smile

Let me make my mother smile,
Although for a while .
Remembering those times ,
When she had made my smile.

Let me make my mother smile,
Although for a while .
For she has always cleared tension from my mind,
With her natural and beautiful smile.

Let me make my mother smile,
Although for a while .
For she has always been by my side,
Let it be day or night.

Let me make my mother smile,
Although for a while .
For she is god's boon in disguise,
Which everyone can't realize.

Let me make my mother smile,
Although for a while .
For she has made my life,
By guiding me all the time.

Let me make my mother smile,
Although for a while .

Nice tribute and well deserved, Ankit. Mother's love is almost divine and a child is always a child at six or at sixty! She is our greatest treasure - siva

A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts.
