Life thrives in acceptance of unity in diversity and that is based on live and let live. Modern technology helps to drive home positive vibes and there is no need to resort to wars that only heap misery on the most hapless and helpless.

Life remains a Mystery and Puzzle

From time immemorial we have wondered about life and what it is about. We have developed many beliefs mainly to give us relief from uncertainties and accept the realities. We question a lot without finding answers. It starts with where we were before and where we are headed for hereafter. It replays in our minds and none who has left has bothered to contact us through any medium though they could have influenced our lives through our thinking and actions, but there is no scientific proof. Hence our life is guided by escapism to keep us busy by acquiring material things and feeding our soul through practicing our faith but some just take day by day to soak in what they can before our return flight is confirmed!

Are We in Control?

There are too many imponderables for us to feel at ease. Starting with our health anything can go wrong anytime but we all have short term and some term goals. We are led mostly by circumstances and forced to react to outside forces. We sense danger and take precautionary measures and, thankfully, they might not materialize to affect our lives drastically. When pushed to the wall we realize we have many choices that we may not have even dreamed of! We are able to find ways to get back to a sense of normalcy soon to even forget the rough rides that none can avoid.

The uncertainties in life go to strengthen our resolve, to squeeze blood out of stone as it were! When there is scarcity we gird our loins to make every moment worth it. The problem of plenty and complacency make us enjoy life less, or the returns prove less; when we are forced to miss a meal we enjoy it later more! So the ups and downs have a positive influence though we have a tendency to bemoan our misfortunes. The imponderables lend rich variety and meaning to our lives and keep us on tenterhooks!

Acceptance and Give and Take

We are individualistic in thinking and actions but we have to live within a society. No one is an island and care and share is the way to live right from time immemorial. It is said absence makes the heart grow fonder though out of sight is also out of mind. We need others to make it all worth the while. Then such a take comes with a caveat that we have to accept others with a give and take. Any attempt to dictate our terms goes before a fall. We are forced to coexist with others all our lives or pay the consequences of a life of isolation. Our relatives and friends desert us in haste when we become a pain through our presence.

Making Sense

The general rules apply not only to individual life but also to society in general vis-à-vis others and for countries too. All strive for acceptance for what they stand for though it is human nature to test the borders! How we are able to be a team player, coexist and accept others within our close circle decides our place under the sun finally. We give what we can and try to make sense of what others offer and accept them wholeheartedly. Countries also try to find allies and doing their bidding all alone bring them to grief and isolation.

We are entering a golden age in terms of technology but to leave the vestiges of the past prove a challenge. Rather than accepting a compromising way of life by accepting the vicissitudes of thinking from all quarters some hold on to a view – my way or the highway! They tend to hang on to power through their waning days to cause misery and uncertainty to their own. While we cherish freedom and democracy, we are yet to make sense to appreciate them in full. Human lives are made expendable especially those of the most innocent who are led to their early demise for no fault of theirs. However, karma will catch up with everyone sooner or later due to cause and effect of every action including our thinking.

Reason and Wisdom

When pushed to the wall we are like a tiger cornered! We need cool minds to find a way out of a hole we dig too often and make the same mistakes. We need to give others the space and face to get them to see reason than force them into a corner and make the situation worse for the people under siege. We should know events will take its course and no quick-fixes will stand the test of time. Every society has to evolve and the world has to be patient for them to find their feet. When the society under siege makes a superhuman effort all by itself they cherish their efforts more. Let others act like lighthouses showing the right path. That is the way it works for individuals too and for humanity that is under self-created stress from time to time. We need to dig out of holes and learn the lessons and nothing should be forced down our throats. No one has a monopoly over wisdom and what is right is soon proved wrong – life is a dream but worth every moment of it. Live and let others live!

Hi Siva,

My friend you are a true "Wordsmith" in every sense of the word.

We are all gifted with various talents to make positive contributions to this life while we are here. It is apparent that one of your prominent gifts is to use your knowledge of language to paint the most brilliant portraits of truth concerning this earthly realm for all to see, from the least to the greatest. Once these truths have been revealed there is no excuse for those who claim to be in the "know" to continue on their courses of destruction when their "inner being" plainly dictates the correct path to take. A wise person might choose to alter their course toward a more positive direction and proceed with caution.

Our God continues to watch over us and wait for the last scales of blinding ignorance to be removed from our eyes so that we can finally be reconciled back to Him for His intents and purposes. I believe this 21st century communication technology that we are mastering will go a long way in achieving the Lord's purpose in the area.

Siva, there are so many people that you will never get to meet on this side of Heaven that have had their lives touched in some positive way by your words and have had their lives altered by such a small course correction. An example of this is to watch how dropping a small stone into a calm pond generates a ripple effect that touches everything in that area.

I have not forgotten our previous conversation concerning collaboration on something positive and as soon as situations are clear to me, I will relay them to you. In the mean time keep doing what you do best, inspire all of us who are within reach of your words with the light that our Lord has chosen to use you as His conduit to spread at this time.

May our God continue to bless, protect and prosper you, your family and all of your laudable undertakings.

Thank you again dear Rubinstyn - your words make my efforts worth ts weight in gold! It takes a very generous heart to recognize, understand and even praise another. I bow down in all humility.

I have spent all my life in Asia and have mingled with all types of people including the very rich and also the very poor. I can vouch that our world owes more to the poorest for their patience and understanding despite them getting played out time and time again.

Freedom and democracy do not mean much if the majority does not know where their next meal is coming from or they suffer due to the recklessness of few who thrive all the time. They have the means and their henchmen to do their bidding.

Another war is touted as the solution. Another set of scoundrels are biding their time in the meantime. The poor will pay the ultimate price whatever the outcome. Only a shift in our consciousness will pave the way for justice to all. I feel for the poverty of feelings when few rich make it to the list of billionaires from poor countries. Does not their wealth belong to their poor countrymen and to society in general?

I take every minute of of my spare time to spread my message that we are closing our eyes to injustice everywhere and adding to bad karma for humanity in general. Let us rise as one and, like Gandhi did, achieve our goal without bloodshed but through touching the hearts and minds of all. Everything we hold dearly will be someone else's, so we have only the goodwill to cherish while alive as legacy is also meaningless when we are no more around!
Thanks again for such profound words - we all should do what we can. Each can do but little, but if each does that little, all will be done. Our Creator has given us everything within us and outside us to find heaven while breathing and sharing the good air here - we should be grateful and be worthy of His abundant blessings - siva

Dreams are pathways from the heart from the Windows of creation guiding us to our destiny we are to live. We are what we co-create, if we want to live in a dream create the Dream world and live in there. I live in Aiyanna's World which is my world of Make Believe like Michael Jackson to Neverland.
Dreams are facets of reality that come alive through practice and destiny, you just have to listen to your heart and it will bring the world to see fate like never before.
I believe in my world and Universe and see the happiness and the dreams unfurling all around me just the way I want it to be.

Thanks Lady Aiyanna for your input. We need to bring to reality the world we dream of - that is our bounden duty. For that we have to live and let live, to start with. We have made enough mistakes all through history, but have we learned the lessons? We need to dream, share and put them into practice and the vast majority want a selfless life and not take the selfish ways as beyond redemption We have to as otherwise we will perish of our own accord despite our Creator pinning great hopes in us - siva

In a world where many are opposed through religion , finance and controlling factors , peace will always be temporal and sporadic , dear Siva .... We who desire peace can individually do our part , and pray that others will follow suit , but ultimately , I am glad that there is a God over all who will have the last say , albeit through the troubles . I choose to put my trust in Him during these times , believing that only He will one day have the last say before man destroys the world He has given us to share and live in .
Bless you my friend

Thank you Stella for your take. We should coexist and find unity amid diversity. All religions preach peace but few misinterpret the teachings for their selfish agenda. Through modern technology they stand exposed and it is time we took the next step - let them fight it out and we can give them enough space, but please leave the rest to live in peace! We are given enough wisdom and also the wherewithal in terms of abundant nature to live in peace - siva

Siva, may I repeat: unity in diversity, live and let live, indeed wars are nothing, they render the poor more poorer, the hungry more hungrier. A dollar spent to produce sarin should be redirected in the production of rice, corn, wheat, fruits, vegetables that could feed millions; it's a universal knowledge that in the backdoors of warring countries are people who are in need, who wallow in filth and misery. When I swallow in a morsel of food, I am forced to think if others are getting their fair share. Help pray for peace in Zamboanga, Philippines! MNLF and government soldiers are at war and gunning one another to death. Let Peace reign!

Thank you Radomes. The poorest are made to fight against one another in wars started by selfish few. They are even justified in the name of religion when it is clear there can be only one Creator. The majority wants to be left alone. I too think of the vast majority each day having to look far and wide leaving families back at home to earn a living. They return after years as strangers to their own! I remember seeing photos of tonnes of gold supposedly belonging to erstwhile dictators - they were offered for half the going prices - greed knows no bounds! siva

There are many who may read your word and think to themselves that this sounds good, and yet they have no earthly idea of the relativity of your words. They do not ponder on the situation that mankind has allowed themselves to get into and/or how they will get themselves out of the mess we are in. Politics are so ingrained in the many that only the few can see where some sort of solution lies - it is not with politics and it is not through the churches. It must be an individual committment to make life better, not just for us and our immediate families , but for all humankind who are, theoretically, our brothers and sisters. Thank you for your wise and interesting post!

Thank you Montezuma for your valuable input. Just because we don't see how others live in close proximity we may take them as just digits making up the world population of 7 billion. They are just like you and me fighting every day to feed their families with hopes of a better tomorrow. Agreed some leaders are evil, but what has it to do with their poorest who do not even have a proper roof over their heads or do not also know where their next meal is going to come from? They are not expendable by any stretch of imagination. I feel the powerful countries should meet to thrash out a new world order to settle pending disputes and thereby uplift the poorest without borders. Let us freeze all issues till then. When big powers fight in others' territory they invite bad karma - plain and simple and ordinary people suffer everywhere. This is no way to live as civilized people and none is entitled to heaven! siva

Thanks Wonder for your touching words. Raining bombs is no way to bring peace. There are now better ways through technology. Let big countries set an example and others will emulate them. Technology crosses borders and now people too, like birds and animals always did! Onward, forward to peace - we are all from the same stock with similar feelings and goals. A change of heart from the biggies will do the trick and people should drive sense into the hard-headed leaders that peace should be the goal - siva
