We have to make conscious efforts for our inner sense to take control for a fulfilling and meaningful life. That spark of inner voice continues to burn within us; that of creation!

Onward, forward towards Happiness and Fulfillment

The moments in our life are transient, fleeting. Each moment is different. One can never get back to the past to reverse our actions. We are left to live with our deeds, rue the chances lost and repair the damage done. We move on but who does not make mistakes? How we take further steps define us, fortify and teach us. Life is a great teacher and we should find own levels that give us lasting fulfillment. Those who can accept the consequences of actions or even inactions and live with them will get ahead and find the goal of contentment, happiness and fulfillment. A bit of luck will help us all!

Stages of Life

We have the real honeymoon period when young. We are welcomed with many willing to hold our hands as we take our baby steps. We make mistakes but our loved ones are willing to forgive and foot the bill. But such periods have to pass as we take charge over our lives. We take responsibility eventually over our actions and others quickly retreat but still lend moral support. It is only fair as they too pass into another stage where they are less able to help others; in fact, they need help! We should become aware of our strengths and weaknesses to stay our course. But we are still led by our senses and easily influenced by the world outside.

The mistakes one makes can be overcome; that, of course, depend on their nature and the time frame we have to get back to life as normal. Most find mental peace and settle into comfort zones. One should not tempt fate foolishly time and time again. While few can thrive in crises, that is not advisable for most. Life is precious; while one should strive to realize the true potential, there are limits depending on factors that restrict us including family, health, etc. We should heed the danger signs than risk it all ruining our families as well.

The evening of our lives can be fulfilling for those who are able to seamlessly blend from one stage in life to another. There is no point acting like a teenager forever testing our body and mental equilibrium! Every stage in our life comes with positive sides and the negatives too but how we evaluate risks and face them decide our different levels.

Life of Fulfillment

It is tough to achieve all our goals. Most just plod on till the last breath. Many factors can trip us along the way; make the journey fraught with twists and turns. When those we depend on let us down others extend their hands to steady us. What we learn in our lives give us lifelong company; others can do only so much. Each stage teaches a lot but we too should shift gears, pause and ponder, as we go along tough terrain and learn from them.

We have to listen to our inner voice, conscience, as it gives us ultimate solace. Even when others desert us, inner sense guides us towards mental relief. The inner voice never fails us but we have to listen. It differentiates the right from the wrong and helps us to live according to our convictions. Even if we do not reach our desired goals, we have the satisfaction of living by our ideals. We change what we can but accept those we cannot – is a good way toward fulfillment and lasting peace. When each gravitates towards a fulfilling life, the sum total of all will make the vital difference in our society, country and for humanity. Let it start with us and then our lives will have real meaning. The spark that we are looking for everywhere is indeed within us; the spark of creation!

Indeed when we have got confusion about to take it or leave it, we ask our 'gut' to answer.
Thank you Sivaji.

My take is - do unto others what you want others do unto you. That will help while confronted with such situations! In fact, I will like to give more of kind deeds but none of those that hurt; to obey by my conscience. Thank you Karim for your input - siva

Normally the heat and humidity abate now in Asia, but this year it shows not relenting. It looks a world-wide phenomenon. Climate change is real. Take care, Carolina - siva
