An Iambic tetrameter ABBA rhymed spiritual poem, about loneliness, love and longing.

Lone woman

The rains and winter days, confer her words
that verses lighted and their truths perceived,
her distant wraith strangers' lone hearts aggrieved
- unspoken words percussed on festal chords.

During nocturnal hours the shadows link,
- lone woman of amatory longing,
red wine - divine her splendor and dawning,
her spread to highs, tall sails egressed to sink.

Sea roars conveyed to ports two dancing forms
where tears and voices subside unreal,
the avid souls gallivant and wounds heal,
rainy priestess of lonesomeness and storms.

Colorful ribbons fly to highs and bold,
she offers red wine toasts where sorrows fade,
glimmering laughs and instant wrongs there trade,
some crimson spills that mountain mists enfold.

Superb...and highly original.

unspoken words percussed on festal chords.

What a brilliant line... and you have a keen sense of the music of words.
