This poem is about life ,and people who don't treat you like a friend but really aren't friends,

The Road To Oz

As time goes by day after day.
It's seems like a crime.
Wondering why people so close to you seem to put in the back seat time after time.
Friends are friends but family is always there.
When you need them the most family is there.
Not a person who gobbles you up.
Is not a friend in real.
Story teller's they are.
Not truth in there words.
Just showing ignorance behind there words.
For a person you cares.
Isn't on there way down the yellow brick road to Oz.
They seem to live as the wicked witch of the west flying monkeys.
They ditch there friendship for a few dollars.
The road to Oz is to earn love not buy love.
For love that is earned is more valuable then the city of Oz itself.
Peoples greed ,and lies.
Gives them the feed they need to live their lives.
Knowing what they are is indeed a flying monkey.
Acts of there, stupidity.
Gives them there degree of childishness never growing up.
There travel down the yellow brick road is but a lonely one.
For there friendship is headed in the wrong direction.
Oz they may never reach .
A detour they took from the start.
