The lover, who is not deterred by the apparent indifference of his beloved, tries hard with his arguments that verge on the humorous to kindle love and kindness in her heart.

Love song (?) of one Mr. H

Oh dear, your love don’t you refuse me,
And force me to die,
I’m sure a killer you don’t aspire to be.

Your captivating hair pulls me hard with every strand,
Even as you shove me away with unkind hand.
Do you then want to be a tyrant?

You are the receptacle of all beauty and I’m all eyes to see.
But your fierce eyes seek to pierce mine.
A monstrous lady do you mean to be?

You hate my body to be around,
While my soul is all over you,
Are you then a racist sound?

Allow my body to stay with my soul,
It is my human right,
If you crave not to be a murderer foul.

Homicide don’t you commit by ripping a man apart,
It is a deadly sin,
I still trust you after all have a heart.
