This is a poem about right and wrong and the colors of the heart.

Misease, Misdeem, and Miscolor…Those Who Take and Those Who Give

Misease, Misdeem, and Miscolor…Those Who Take and Those Who Give

We are all proud of ourselves in someway
And yet we have no enthusiasm,
No light in our eyes,
No stardust,
Yet our accomplishments
Are as numerous
As the bricks in the wall,

But then
One must take into account
The total size and weight
Of that wall…How thick, how long,
How tall

To know the total worth
Of it all.

Here We Have Misandrists

Here we have misandrists
And misanthorpiets
Plus those who show characteristics
Of miganthropics
And yet we all human here
And all together in our work
Of pointing middle fingers
And making sour faces
To those
We pass in the night.
Those we want to fight.

This is our darkness, our darkest hour
And our life comes pouring out,

Love Was the Cause

After all, love was the cause
And the curse,
The pain and the hurt
We all strived for
Before the wall came down,
But this is where death
Has nothing over us.
This is where we repent.

This is life anew
Where sky is freedom
And sunshine the great giver.

This is That Happy Place

This is that happy place
Where hate has no color, no face
And scars live
Where pointing fingers
Once showed the cracks of one’s soul.
Here there is no manipulation.
Here we are mannered
And mannerly.
Mano a mano,
Hand in hand standing as stone
Against the manner-less
And the cruel heart,
Those who would force their way
Into the lives of others
Simply to make a point
Of the pointless.

These Are Those

These are those
Who are pressed into a world
Where their love does not fit
And by being so alone
They try to cut away
The living color
From those poor souls

Who could not understand them.
Who could not help them.

Even to this Day

And yet, even to this day,
There are those
So filled with anger

That they point and say
“If only we could be, like them,
Like they were in their anger,
Then surely
We could all
Stand tall”.

I have been writing since the beginning of time it seems, not because I want to write, but because I have too. My favorite form of writing is poetry, all kinds and types of poetry.

I don't understand this world where monsters are revered and gentle folk laughed at

Carol, I don't understand it either, but I blame the media as it seems as though this is how some seek for fame and the media is always right there to document it.

It takes all kind of people to make this world. We all have our faults.

Where art thou now?... Your wicked words still haunts me beautifully:
"And scars live
Where pointng fingers
Once showed the cracks of one's soul"
