Mother Teresa is a phenomenon in the God's creation.
The poem 'LIFE' is well-known as a great quote from her wonderful sayings.
This is an attempt to understand what is LIFE and its interpretation from each line in that poem.

Here, I examine how 'Life is an opportunity' and how to 'benefit from it'.

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.

Opportunity is a favorable combination of circumstances.

This life is a real opportunity to live on the planet earth where you can enjoy your stay.

There is an opportunity to serve the people who are downtrodden or who are suffering in many ways.

An opportunity to serve and save the people or animals; an opportunity to plant some trees and save the earth from green house effect; an opportunity to chat with someone who is (s)miles away; an opportunity to play various games and face the sportive challenges; an opportunity to venture into the wilderness of nature and challenge the unknown realms and explore; an opportunity to dive deep into the abysmal origin of thought; an opportunity to harness the unclear nuclear energy latent in a infinitesimal sub-atomic particles.

Life is an opportunity to live in harmony with the nature.

Undoubtedly, Mother Teresa utilized that opportunity and dedicated herself for the many orphaned lives consoling and caring for them never losing even a single second in the service of the mankind.

Lovely tribute. The friend that told me about this site, lived in India under a Guru for a long time.

jm,
You're welcome to the spiritual world.
Mother Teresa is also a Guru; she is a guiding Light.

She never preached ceremoniously, but her life itself is Spirituality personified.

Rathnashikamani, I'm happy to hear you refer to Mother Teresa in present tense. From what I have read and heard of her I can only believe she is a beautiful soul. One that I would love to meet.
