Mountains protected people ever since the beginning of human civilization. What about these days?

Modern man says
You are not noble height
But only something
That creates depressions in the air column.

Standing on your peak he boasts, ‘conquered!’
As a housefly, upon an elephant’s head might do.

Size does matter

Using excavators
He creates concrete jungle out of your flesh
Since you are an ‘orthodox peg’
Hindering nation’s progress.

Now there are satellites, radars and missiles
For country’s protection!
You, keen on his corruptions, make him shy:
Moreover, the psychologists assert
Your size causes inferiority complex in man!

Concrete Jungle, Everest, Himalayas, Mountain, Patriot, Protector, Psychologist, Radar

Its easy to reproduce human life forms and one to many and nine months later have a kid.
Mountains valleys, rivers, seas, lakes etc. take millions of years to form and just one TNT explosion to blow the whole operation in the Woods....
Sorry you feel that way about Planet Earth, you owe your existence to her as you are just a tenant on her land not an owner. Never have been either and never will be.
