Muses (Poem)

Ideas are thought in dreams and awake, but you take them wherever they are and wherever they lead you!

The Muses all come to me in the night,
I wake up at dawn and I start to write,

When I dream a dream, then those dreams they are,
But when I don’t dream, my mind still goes far,

I just don’t know it, but wander afar,
Mind gets inspiration under a star,

My body asleep, my mind wanders on,
Bringing home ideas to ponder at dawn,

The Muses they whisper, and take my hand,
Off to explore some exotic dreamland,

Busy awake and still busy asleep,
My skills at writing are found in that deep,

Oceans of stars wander over my head,
While seas of thoughts sail across my bedstead,

So, take me you Muses to worlds of thought,
And give me the gifts of wonder I sought.
