The last but maybe not the last of my collections, the ones that I am still collecting. Hope i get more.

My KeyChains

This key chain in the picture is my most recent, given to me by a friend who just came home for vacation from Hong Kong.
I started to collect them when I noticed I had a few in a plastic bag. I took them out and looked at them. They came from different places and some local places too. Then I decided to collect more. So whenever someone asks me what I want as souvenir I ask for key chains. My nephew who goes around already got me some and promised me that he will get me more when he goes on his next trips.

Simple and Give Away Key Chains

These are my ordinary key chains. Most were give aways on birthdays and weddings. Also reunions. Some were simple key chains given as promo. But I still collect them and keep them together. They are also memorabilia of the affairs I attended. Nice to keep and save. Some are useful too like the ones that can also be bottle openers and a toy.

Rubberized and Wooden Key Chains

These key chains are rubberized and some wooden. These also came from different Asian countries and the US and local places in the Philippines. My daughter also found one from my place Iloilo now I need to find one that is from my town, Miagao. Most from the US came from my younger brother. Singapore, Boracay, Iloilo, Lucban, Zambales, Cebu, Florida, Thailand, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and Disneyland USA. Mostly local areas and a few imported.

Plastic ones

These are very colorful. Mostly from Mexico and US. There are a lot of duplicates but that is no problem because they look different. I keep them separated according to type so they won't scratch each other. Because the rubberize has a tendency to tear. From Hawaii, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, St.marten. Caribbean, Niagara Falls and Long Beach, CA. These lasts longer.

Metal

Now these are my favorites. Most from a lot of places and also in the US. These are metal and some hard plastics so they would last long. From Jordan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Bali, Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore. Places I have never been too but I can imagine while looking at these key Chains. Very original and distinct from other countries. I usually ask ones with the names of the countries on them.

The Useful Ones

These are nail cutters but also key chains. I had one from Korea but it got lost. These are from Singapore and the middle one Niagara Falls, Canada. The other one is from Disney and can hold more than one key. These are very useful when you need to trim your nails and can even cut through small ropes, tape or thread. I think I had the Korean one in one of my bags before it got lost. It was before I decided to collect them.

I am planning to make a shadow box with glass covering and hang them on hooks for display. Key chains are one of the most inexpensive souvenirs from different places and easy to carry. I am still expecting more to be given to me. A friend said she collected a few when she went on a tour but we have not met yet so I don't have them as of now, but maybe soon. Also another friend said she has some for me because she collects them too and have a few duplicates. It makes me smile looking at them. Because even if I haven't been there yet, I have a souvenir from the different places. That is why i prefer that the names of the countries are on the key chain so I will know where they are from
