My public diary for consumption and critique. I hope you enjoy reading.

Guess What?!?!

Jerry's official Network Engineering Technologies partnership went through! This means that he has officially succeeded in starting his own audio-video company. He's going to go out and do the work, I am going to be the office manager/handle the money, and hopefully this will secure our family's future. We are nowhere near "out of the fire" yet; however, this is a significant step forward to making sure we are on the road to recovery. Last night was a night of celebration and daydreaming about our future. Today is going to be about taking the next few important steps forward with the business. I am truly looking forward to filling out whatever paperwork they need us to turn in.

Thanks Readers

My daily readership jumped from two to three digit numbers again! Yesterday was 119 page views. These little diary articles really only take up 15-20 minutes of my morning, but they figuratively screw my head on right for the day. It means so much to focus--however briefly--on the positives in my life, as well as take a moment to think about the areas which need improvement. Now that we have achieved triple digits (remember: the goal is 5,000), I would like to aim for 500. But honestly, who cares? This is just so much fun.

I Am So Lucky

Let me begin by saving that I have the weakest enamel on the planet. Probably not, but my dentist has often commented on how I am fighting an uphill battle with cavities because my teeth are less dense than the fillings that protect them. This means that they separate constantly and cause bacteria to leak underneath and potentially cause me to have root canals. Needless to say, I tried to hold off on all minor surgeries until after Erik was born, but it caused more work to need to be done. I had no idea how I would afford it all. You all know how strapped for cash I am already. Then, my parents proved just how amazing, supportive, and loving they really are. They offered to buy me dental insurance while I am getting out of this financial crisis we are in. In North Carolina, dental insurance can only cost $30-50 per month, but I haven't been able to afford the regular expense. This would mean the world to me. I am so lucky.

That's all for today. Thanks for reading,
The Happy Home Executive

The medical and other expenses pinch so much, and even though I am on the other side of the globe, I can empathize with you, your life and struggle. Yet you seem high on spirit and this is a big thing!
Such enthusiasm does rubs in and can create a positive ripple. Keep it up!
And I wish your own Business works well.
