I've decided to move on to other things in my life. I doubt I'll publish again here for some time. All my best to those keeping on the Wikinut way.

My Last Release

Bury my child today—
My glorious, golden, glittering, guiltless child—
Inside the darkling deep.

Bury it with tears,
Which weep for its lack of notice and acclaim;
It was a blesséd child, worthy of a fame
And of use to its peers.

Bury it with flowers
To mark the passing of all life,
However long or short;
Its preciousness remains.

Bury it with screams,
For this child’s death commanded no sense;
It was as unjust as its life
Testified to dreams.

Bury it with its name,
So that They remember
What was to be
Had not the Fates intervened.

But bury it quick
Before the moonlight buries me;
If this child would ever resurrect
Let it happen in an age
Elsewhere from me.

I liked reading your pieces and point of view and now you're going to be gone only after the New York minute I knew you from your words. I'm hoping that your "child" is a metaphor, a conceptual entity and not literal. In any case, your leaving is our loss.

Good luck.
