My Messy Son

I am sure that we all have daughters and sons and are constantly cleaning and tidying up after them. I am sure that many of you can relate to this one.

My Messy Son

Oh no my little messy son,
You always look so grubby.
And making such a lot of work,
For me and for my hubby!

Knocking over the old trash can,
Then climbing deep inside.
Just looking for another place,
Where you can play and hide.

There is no peace with you my lad,
When you're rattling your toys.
Why don't you go outside and play,
With all the other boys?

Looking forward to a time quite soon,
To a day when there's less tension.
For every Thursday you go out,
To collect your old age pension!

Well children are a joy to be with and cleaning up after them comes with the package. Children will go out to play with other children but be prepared for them to come home with bag missing, shoes missing, clothes missing sometimes, holes in clothes and what not. As long as they are not like me, the rascal, its a fun thing. But that said, teach the child how to behave as that is the reason why we are the adults and they are the children, they learn from us and are very curious.

Oh I sure have gone throguh this all. I have to admit when my son was very young, it was a nuisance but, I never let him know that, I loved watching my little tike doing his boy things. Yes, he was also the boy that had all kinds of things in his pockets, even critters, he was a mess. Now that he will be 29 years old, tuesday and I am able to be around his son, I now never tire from the messes Ihave to clean up. I now just look at them and smile. I now know how time flies and how you one day will miss all those messes so now, I just soak it all in and I can not wait to see my son's son, make more. Nice read and I so relate. Thank you for sharing.:)
