My analytical foray to check on my Article revamping exercise.

An Analytical way to check results

Around 4 months back, I wrote an article where I elaborated upon my plans for re-writing and refurbishing my existing articles to improve their quality, thus also improving my Page Views, as well as my earnings.
The revamping methods of course, can also be used for newer articles, and can have a positive impact on them.
I decided to use MS-Excel based Graphical Analysis with Line Graphs to check on how I have progressed. It is quite exciting to do so, and I can firther explore Pie charts and more going further.

I posted this article on 6th March 2014, and to measure how my Mission is going, I divided my Graphical Staistics collection over 4 different Periods spanned over One month each, as listed in the following sections:

1)Period : Data from 1 month preceding the article

2)Second: Immediately few days after the article and spanning 1 month

3)Two more periods after the article

Period prior to starting on this Mission

Period: 01-Jan-2014 to 01-Feb-2014
Total Page Views -> 3769
Total Earnings -> £0.128
The graphical representation of the Stats:
A few spikes here and there

Immediate period following this article:

Period: 15-Mar-2014 to 15-Apr-2014

Total Page Views -> 3880
Total Earnings -> £0.146

Not much change from Jan to Feb time period.

Period I Post Article

Period: 01-May-2014 to 01-June-2014
Considerable improvement(s):
There are more peaks and Page Views near 500 more often. More than 2000 page views difference and also in earnings
Total Page Views -> 6564
Total Earnings -> £0.251

Increasing Page views and earnings in second period checked after the Article

Period: 02-June-2014 to 02-July-2014
Total Page Views -> 8556 In this most significant fact is that the Page Views now do not dip below 100. and earnings do show upward trend, though I do need to make more efforts to improve both.
Total Earnings -> £0.290
Overall, I cannot say that this comparison technique is without any flaws, but it is an exciting way to do so, and check how we are faring.

Refurbishing old articles can help. I suggest editing for spelling errors, making sure each article links to at least 2 other related articles of yours, and so forth.
Also remember to promote your article, put it on Facebook, Google+ and share on Twitter.

Hi Mark,
I followed a lot of things you suggested via your articles:
1)Linking to Twitter
2)Sharing other Wikinut Article Links in my articles.
3)Spell checking- I cannot quantitatively measure how it helped, but I have a feeling that it does helps.
4)Share the Wikinut Joining referral link at my article bottom.
5)use of images and videos.
And great thanks to you and other moderators for their guidance.
