We have all seen him...that little nutpoint man stepping along the line of your Profile Page..taking another step for each page that you submit as your nutpoints accrue from various means...But what happens when he gets so far and then ceases to move? My sad tale of my static nutpoint man...

My Nutpoint Man And I...

As I have added to my work,
pages I have now accrued..
I've watch my little nutpoint man..
As down the line, my fella's moved..

His journey has been pretty fast...
For 7 months, he's rushed along..
But nutpoint man seems to be stuck..
Could there be something that's gone wrong?

'Cos he's been there for quite a while,
teetering so near the edge..
Just one more step he has to take..
One, my nutpoint man may dread!

Perhaps he suffers from vertigo...
Poor man, I swear I see him quake..
Just one nut step to reach the end..
One sidestep that he has to make!

Alas, it could be quite a while,
but he will get there in good time..
This journey you all share with me..
As I publish this new page of mine!

Great vision and a very clever and unusual poem Bev my friend. I have often wondered what happens to the little nutman when he reaches the end. Mine hasn't moved for quite a while now maybe he needs a good kick in the 'derriere' to get him going again lol..or I do ..and get some new poems written ...haha :-)

You know, Songbird, I must confess my memory may be faulty here. It could have been when I reached 7,000 - probably was since you have over 6,500 - you've got to be very close. I just read this poem again and laughed even louder this time. What a delightful sense of humor you share with us all!

The little nutman gets cracked by a big pair of nut crackers. It's a cruel ending for the poor little soul.
I loved this. Thanks.

This was just too funny, Bev. Steve had such an obsession over his wikinut guy for a while, but I haven't heard him mention it for some time now. I'll have to go check mine. lol Thank you for the laugh, dear friend. xo

I use to worry about my nut guy and then it stalled and has been at the same place for months. This just cracked me up. I just love your sense of humour. Thanks for making me 'laugh out loud', I needed this.:)

I laughed, I loved! Great poem! I am writing about Nutpoints as I am about to reach a milestone -- but unlike stats, I can't go back to day one and see if I missed anything. So I went wandering to see who else was talking about it, and happily found this instead. Here's 2 more points!! ;)
