In New York City, there is no shortage of amazing things to see.

How many things...

How many things one sees through the eyes of a city?
How many priceless and wondrous things to see?

Walking both above and below ground, there is a constant stream of humanity's flow passing by.

Here at he crossroads of the world (Times Square) the world ambles through;
And their interactions breed a fascinating view.

Ahead some policemen show affection to their good friend;
What a happy positive message such image sends.

Needle In The Sky

Thrust up against the surface of the sky;
A resurrected dream appears on high.

Its shiny sides reflect the space around
And remind us of a majesty,
straight from the ground.

Hotel Subway

Asleep on the train going downtown,
We see our subways double as a Hotel space.

The other passengers have had the sense
To let the man have his room--
And a few seats to spare--
Perhaps they also have gotten the 'scents'
To give him his place.
Too bad no one has given him a pillow
Or a blanket for his rest.

At least the fellow has the decent grace
To remove his shoes.

Eve Blackwater

Excellent Songstress playing in the night;
With a spooky, sensual and hypnotic sound,
She warms up the listeners to a different take.

With her long, folkloric and styled hair
Strumming a red guitar in tune with her song,
Eve transfixes the hardened crowd.

In the midst of a city's haste,
Here is a message from a different place
And something better with which to make.

Ain't Love Grand...

Ain't love grand any way you find it
In any place or at any hour.

It does not matter if it's up at the Society Club,
Or down in the bowels of the Subway car.

You may not be able to keep your pants up, but at least you know
Someone else has got your back.

New York City is different than it used to be, and that's putting it mildly as well as politely.

Still so exciting to be here. Love how each year we get record numbers of visitors. And the construction cranes keep going up.

My wife would never go, she hates big crowded cities.

Fair enough, Mark. Not everyone comes here, but last year we topped 55 million visitors. I guess we're on a lot of people's bucket lists.

Awesome, I can't wait to see New York. It's become a mythical place for me, made famous by literary tradition and the greatest city of the 20th century, IMO.
