This prose poem is about a muse who was the perfect picture of unexampled beauty.

O' Come my Lady Nigh

O' come my lady nigh, in truth and beauty, with those raven tresses, that wind in the balmy breeze, where heaven’s fairest stars have court your bright eyes, O' beauty, her endearing armor, that meets my elated glance, my dear warrior! The courier of Saint Cupids almighty bow, Where I have only pressed my kiss against the lips where rests that fair rosy hue, and passion kindles those votive rays, but a lover's bliss, that blessed day! When that seraph light retained my soul upon her flowering face, and the tender tones of her sweet accents, those dazzling eyes that live for life, will never sleep in death, and sighs will never mourn a painful service that will out last my years, Apollo sets forth that homeward path, of desires fiery wheels, turning within Nirvana’s sunny chariots.
