This page is about those behaviors we feel are not important but then they become dangerous and risky to our health and can finally lead to death.

Our Risky Behaviors

Under today's world, people find it extremely convenient eating processed food, than to prepare fresh dishes. It's equally convenient spending time and wasting energy sitting in front of a television set for hours and cabbage in and out on computers for days than take part in physical fitness exercise. There are choices that impedes on our health faculty and inflict diseases to us.

For instance a large number of diabetes is caused by our eating habit, rich diets and sedentary habit are increasingly creating serious health hazards on daily basis to us.According to one research report, these choices may be condemning a growing number of adults and children to serious health problems in our generation.

It is disturbing that diabetes is striking over our younger members of the society, which has caused researchers to laments that only one in seven preteens eat sufficient quantity of fruits and vegetables, and that just over half play enough to ever break a sweat, which as adduced by researchers may put the youngsters on the fast track for heart related diseases by their 30's.

In another report by the Globe and Mail as analyzed by sleep experts that adult may need about 8 hours of sleep and that young people may need even more. In fact, in a nutshell, sleep forms an important part in our life and existence. In a University of Chicago study, healthy young men who got only four hours of sleep on six consecutive night began to show signs of medical problems, usually associated with senior citizens.

A lot of our youngsters sacrifice their hours of sleep for the sake of pleasure, school work and activities. Sometimes hours of sleep are used for unnecessary engagements and hang out of which the result are always counter productive. It's one thing to function and another to be alert, creative and not have an unintended sleep seizures driving down the free way.

Other factors also impeached our Physical well being. For example, the over use of drugs, stressful environment and bad eating habits leads to ailment like obesity, liver cirrhosis, and some form of cancer. Tobacco have been found to be another sweet but harmful to health, it is the leading but preventable cause of death to millions of people around the world especially USA.

Tobacco contain a chemical called nicotine that is very addicting, once you start smoking or chewing tobacco it's very difficult to quit.Tobacco also contain chemical that mutate the DNA in your lung cells causing cancer and increases your risk of developing other cancers as well.
