A patriotic poem about my country, India. It tells about the oneness that exists in the vastness.

Our India, Own India

There lies a nation full of disparity
With hundreds spoken, yet hospitality
And another hundred followed – with
Vengeance, that lags behind the fence
Though a difference in the twenty nine
That each of which has its own sign.
In spite of all the disparities that roll
Still we breathe as one complete soul.

No nation is built like ours; even the people
Endowed with ability that sleeps hours.
We need to stand up with a word of might
Eradicating and throwing out our lazy filled night
Which is our duty to rise and move up,
As we own it with respect and love.

India has survived for thousands of years despite the many divisions and dissensions and will survive for another thousands of years.Unity in diversity in every way! Some Indians hate to love and also love to hate their country, but their heart is with mother India! siva
