Short poem about owain glyndwr a welsh prince who fought against king henry and the english when wales was ruled by england.

Owain Glyndwr

Glyndwr was a prince of wales,
Many battles, many tales,
Fought against king henry,
Of high birth and of gentry,
Proclaimed the prince by the land,
Organised a fighting band.

Won a Battle

Won a battle at hyddgen,
And some more just now and then,
Had support from charles of france,
Thus then gave a better chance,
All his family helped him fight,
Must have been a bloody sight.

Find his Statue

Find his statue at corwen,
Leader of the welsh men,
In the end he did fail,
Not your usual fairy tale,
In wales he is the one,
Who led and nearly won.
