Please Smile

Smiling is contagious. Do yourself a favor and smile. Even when you don't feel like it or see no reason to, smile anyway.

A Good Place To Start Is With A Merry Heart

Don't let your heart be troubled ~ neither let it be afraid

On that point ~ enough said

But even while your heart may be aching

Continue to smile even though it may be breaking

God provides an answer that will always work

When You Rejoice You Have More Reasons To Smile

Hundreds of years ago a man by the name of Helkanah

in the Old Testament had a wife named Hannah

And Hannah made a choice to rejoice

She wanted a child so she began to pray ~ that she would not stay ~ barren

She said: My heart rejoices in the Lord; My horn is exalted in the Lord.

I smile at my enemies,

Because I rejoice in Your salvation.

Smile costs nothing, so why be miserly with one that is a normal emotion? Smiling is an ice-breaker too in a relationship. It is also the best stress reliever.

Thanks Helen for reminding to show positive emotion - siva

Helen, thanks for sharing such an uplifting article. I always try to greet people with a smile. I'm a happy person but I know a lot of people that are not happy. I'm sending smiles to you from me. I loved the pictures.

Yes, thanks Helen, if we choose to smile with our minds, I believe that a real smile of God's love will emerge from our hearts.

God's smile lives behind both our smiles, and also behind our brokenness, which smiling (both God's and ours) then helps to repair.

Sorry to be late in replying to this post dear Helen .
It is so true that a smile can lift our spirit and those around us ...
I have a precious friend in my church who always says ' If we are not wearing a smile , then we are not dressed properly '...she was the first black teacher in our country from Antigua.... and she didn't have a lot to smile about in her early years, but praise God ...she is nearly ninety now and her life has given many young lives something to smile about .
Many smiles and blessings to you also today : )

A smile feels good too so it works both ways, blessing you and the people around you. Blessings.

Yes ~ that is so true ~ Kingwell. It works both ways. Admittedly, it took me several years to come to that conclusion.

Thanks for your support and comments.
