Poetry: How to keep Jesus Christ within our Christmas

The way to bring Christ into Christmas is to bring him first into our hearts. Here are a couple of poems written about the real message of Christmas.

The last section here is a personal message from me about Christmas. I share a time when I closed myself off to the magic of this time of Christmas. I closed my heart off to the miracle of its love.

Christmas time should allow Christ's light to shine brighter around all

Christmas time can be full of joy within a type of darkness.
True light shines in. Jesus is there, if we are not so mindless.
Surface happiness is all about opening up our Xmas goodies,
yet true happiness is not found receiving gifts in blindness.

The real Christmas spirit's begun if it's seen from its beginnings.
You'll forget the original Christmas looking only at its trimmings.
You'll miss out then on making the link to true love's forgiving's.
The greatest gift ever given was God giving his son to everyone.

The real Christmas message must be kept alive in our hearts.
It can never be fully found within a glitzy present under a tree.
Nothing can ever really begin to really ever look like Christmas,
until you feel its message for real, deep within your own heart.

How can we keep Christ in Christmas, whilst still here below?
How can we live with Jesus' love deeper within our own hearts?
We do this by sharing his story with those who do not yet know.
This allows them the chance to grow in the glow of Jesus' love.

The Christmas message is heard deeply within the heart of love.
It brings joy to life in all that are linked to God up, but not above.
The shoving of people around in the stores looking for their gifts,
should not be replaced by the emptying of Christ from your love.

"Christmas is a time when people of all religions come together to worship Jesus Christ."

This is a quote by someone that should know something about what he is saying. It's by Bart Simpson!!

Bart Simpson is of course from that well known television show, "the Simpsons".

Bart is the eldest child in the family. If we all did what Bart wants us to do, we perhaps would all enjoy Christmas more, as the one big religious family that we all belong to.

After all, there is only one God, and every religion ultimately reports to him, I feel.

Poetry: The Christmas miracle lives on in us all

Love unearthed, was not death being born.
The forlorn soon found new peace was now alive.
Holding nothing back, awestruck & yet forewarned.
The rest is not a mystery to be lost within our history.

The Christmas miracle's still within us all right now,
if it's still being powered by God's love from above.
God's love, as Jesus, came down here then below,
to show us how his love was not so unliveable in us.

God's love's not kept only all up in heaven with him.
His love spreads by us including him within our within.
God's miracle of love is only really permissibly all true,
because he's invisibly divisibly placed within us to begin.

Nothing divides, or ever confines us from our God.
His miracle completes itself within us by us loving him.
Each Christmas reminds us to find we're all intertwined.
God's miracles all sit all alone inside us, if left un-eyed.

Get now on the ride of your life today, I say now to you.
Love gives miracles every day. Not just a cliché, this's true.
All of us are all together inside of God's love. It's our guide.
Thereby we're all free to free our own miracle from inside.

Believing in Jesus will place Christmas into your heart

"He who has not Christmas in his heart will never find it under a tree."

This quote is from the American clergyman, and writer, Roy L. Smith.

When I was a boy, I had a much younger brother, who always looked forwards to Christmas. I knew that it was my mum who played Santa Claus, somehow I had always known this, but still, just the same, I envied my little brother's exuberance, about this time of the year.

We do not have to be this way with God too. In the same way as this, we know that he is really and truly our Father in Heaven. We can feel this to be true, by our feeling of his great love for us.

As a boy, because I was proud of my so-called "higher knowledge" about the truth of who Santa really was, I always withdrew myself away from the real Christmas spirit, and my little brother would often get quite upset by this himself. He wanted me to feel what he was feeling, and to share in it with him. Sadly, I never did.

The love for life comes more alive at Christmas, and I felt this in my brother, who still believed in the miracle of Christmas, but I did not.

This miracle must be felt as true by your heart first, and the doubts in your mind must be dispersed by this love bursting forth covering over all of your other thoughts with itself.

This was as was happening to my brother, who wanted me to also feel it in the same way as in which he was feeling it, and he just couldn't understand me at all. I refused to feel it. I was such a stubborn boy, indeed.

Now as I approach old age, and as I think now about my brother, who later become an atheist, I still feel partly guilty about the way that I was to him as an older brother at that time, of all times, at Christmas.

I was mean to him then. I refused to share in his love for what was happening for him at that time. I still regret the way I behaved at those Christmas times, so long, long ago now.

He no longer feels what he felt as a boy, or maybe he still does, but the great let-down that he felt, when he found out the truth about Santa Claus, caused him to doubt the existence of God then too.

Ever since, I have been trying to prove that God exists for myself so that I can share this great truth with him then too. I went through many past life hypnosis sessions just so that I could tell them to him, and to try to open him up again to something more than just what he was accepting now as being true.

We must never close ourselves off to greater truths as I did once, because when we do, we stop giving out love. Let us all love each other deeply at Christmas. Let us feel the love in our hearts, and share it with all others around us.

thanks Carolina.

Yes Christ is always with us, but at these sorts of times, we can really prompt ourselves to remember this even more, and more.

As the Christmas Carol says ...O come to my heart Lord Jesus , there is room in my heart for Thee ...
by receiving God's Holy Spirit to come and dwell in our lives we can All know the true meaning of Christmas and indeed the reason for our lives .
For God so loved the world , that He gave His Only Begotten Son ( Jesus ) that whoever believe in Him shall not perish but shall have everlasting life ...John 3: 16
Santa Claus is counterfeit to the real wonder and Gift that we can All receive if we open our hearts to the TRUE Father of Christmas , who never deceives us or disappears after Dec 25th .
Have a very Happy Christmas spirited
God bless you with His love and peace my friend

Thanks for this personal share that most can connect with, Spirited. It is natural for one to become cynical as rewards are heaped on those who take the short cut but the marathon of life recoils on them and blesses those who play it fair come what may. When one accumulates material possessions, love for another is not in their horizon but the real rewards are for those who have time for others to help them in times of need. Merry Christmas - siva

thanks siva, Merry Christmas too.

My brother loved opening his presents, and he wanted me to open mine right away then too, to share them with him.

I never did, naughty boy that I was, I kept them unopened for a day or to longer to keep him in suspense.

I know Spirited, some older siblings, especially brothers, are wont to do that just to irritate their younger ones! siva
