Poetry: Imagination is never an illusion, nor is it a delusion

This is a short poem about how the power of imagination is never a delusional one. It brings us into realities that we could never have entered otherwise. Keep your feet on the Earth, but allow your mind to soar into the Heavens.

Get past the delusion to the realness of your being yourself! You are no illusion!

The illusion of the illusion being a delusion is not real

Is an illusion always only a deceptive trick, or a delusion?
Perhaps it's such a fantasy that frees us to imagine real reality.
Such fantasy is not just an escape, as it opens you up to love.
Our understanding soars, if we're no longer restricted thereof.

Einstein once said that, "Imagination is everything."
God imagined everything into its being in creation.
The truth seen without imagination often upsets some,
but it's seeing truth with imagination that allows it to be truth.

Imagination is a combination of thought and love,
combined together to make the impossible, possible.
God used his imagination to create a thought of me,
and this thought then combining with his love made me.

Your imagination's a sort of a link that moves you along.
It can take you from consciousness right up to soul love.
This is done by first imagining a sort of quasi linkage,
that allows your soul to drop its ladder for you to climb above.

The biggest obstacle in our life is that it is an illusion.
The next mistake we make is that illusions aren't real.
All is as real as our imagination creates it to be real.
Life exists on both sides of the equation, if we see this.

"Infinite love is the only truth. Everything else is illusion."

The English former footballer, and now writer and speaker, David Icke said this.

I would have to agree with him here.

Living from a level of anything less than total unconditional love is always living from an illusion of sorts, caused usually by you hanging onto some type of a fear.

Illusions and delusions abound

Senryu: About illusions

Deception deceives.
Illusion imitates real.
Interpretation?

"Illusion is the first of all pleasures."

The French writer, and philosopher, Voltaire, (1694 to 1778) said this.

I wonder what the second of all pleasures is, it is probably not delusion!!

We live in an illusion of delusion until we become real to ourselves

Poetry: Others will see you for you. Look past the delusion

I expected no-one would ever take me as I thought I was.
Not even to myself was I who I really was, all because, because...
I was mixed up, woolly-headed as to what was the real truth.
I was lost in myself looking too hard for proof under my roof.

I lived my life in solitary seclusion, but I ached for inclusion.
My confusion came about because of my faulty conclusions.
I'd never expected God's love could help me past my delusions.
I expected life to tell me who I was even despite my disillusion.

There is order even in confusion. I really knew who I really was.
The problem was I feared being this real self because I froze.
I feared people taking me as I am. I was too afraid to be myself.
I needed love to open the door of my fears to my inner wealth.

We all have this inner wealth, and a real value in who we are.
We need to star as ourselves. No part of us must be disbarred.
We need to face every facet of our personality, & be our soul.
Only then we'll find that we're already whole in our own role.

Love takes you to be as God created you in your beginning.
This is taking you as you really are. You are love being loved.
Reality recedes when fear appears, if it adheres in your glove.
Be your real self, & others will see you as God does from above.

"Losing an illusion makes you wiser than finding a truth."

So said Ludwig Borne, a German writer (1786 to 1937).

This sounds pretty good, but is it really true?

Love is the only realness. All else deceives, and yet what he says has meaning in the sense that truth is revealed when the blindfolds are removed, because it was there all the time, within love.

Removing an illusion about a truth allows you to create the wisdom on top of that truth which then practically shows you how to live from it and apply it wisely in your own life.

Great article ~ Spirited. I believe ~ that our imagination is a wonderful gift from God and can be quite useful if we do not let it become infected by demonic operatives.

There is concept that has floated around for years that says 'if you can perceive it and believe it ~ you can achieve it.' That may ~ possibly ~ summarize what you're saying in your post. God bless you!

Our imagination and dreams show us the way forward. We should move towards our goals, step by sure step. We also have an inner guide to hold our hands. Nice poem and thoughts, Spirited - siva
