Poetry: Silence remained drained in my pain

When we are drained either by the noise of the world, or by our own inner noise, we seldom become full of real silence. We must empty out from ourselves the noise of our noise to hear the silence of silence.

This poem is about my pain in my silence; it was not silenced until I found silence in my pain.

A false silence had fooled me

I was hurting.
I was pained.
Nothing was left.
Nothing remained.

I agonised,
in my way.
I struggled,
on my path.

Life was hard,
in my anguish.
Silence was noisy,
in my language.

Love was silenced by fear.
Pain remained still here.
Fullness emptied un-spared.
Fear competed. It dared trying.

God entered my darkness.
His light bright, stark as.
I was not yet a carcass.
I had a second chance as.

I was loved.
I was cared for.
My pain all gone,
silence stilled me again.

Before I was too full,
now I'm emptied out.
My silence quieted down,
I heard a realer silence.

Haiku of silence

Silence is too loud

Forests of tall giants
majestically displayed
whispering unheard

(A forest)

Silence is too soft

Unheard within noise
days break against rocks until,
the silent midnight.

(Early death)

Winds growing eyes

Storming angry winds
hurricanes calmly arrive
seeing through their eye

(see silence as it is)
