Poetry: The art of deception is never an art

This poem indicates to us that deceit always takes you up the wrong street of life. You depart your right path when you begin to practise this black art of deceit.

Deceit becomes a thorn in your flesh, a splinter in your eye. You can never see anything truly as it really is, if you see it through the veil of deceit.

Don't cover over your heart with your mind's deceit. Be the real you, at all times.

Deceit is a type of wrong judgement and a lie

The art of deception is a black art, not smart.
If we start deceiving, we'll depart our own heart.
The reception of our deception often will depend,
on somebody's wrong perception in part in the end.

The deceiver is not he who he thinks that he is.
Really, he is the one hiding behind his deceit.
We must defeat the deceiver, un-cover his plot,
drop all silence, don't be discrete about his rot.

Retreating to a backseat's never the answer, but
we're never truly deceived by anyone else either.
The art of deception is not found in our heart,
we're deceived if our mind melts to what's dealt.

Deceit will retreat away in a much greater haste,
if it's chased away by our truly honest chaste.
The subtleness of the deceiver's deceit, you see,
must not meet up with you in defeat on your knees.

Do not try to deceive back the deceiver to win.
Deceit is usually only overcome by the receiver,
not matching the deceit, with a greater deceit,
but simply by showing the deceiver his own defeat.

The art of deception is made by society's effete,
cheating their way up to the highest higher seat.
Always keep your own integrity fully all complete,
do not fall over backwards by repeating his deceit.

Only love never deceives

Senryu: About deceit

Deception deceives,
the receiver agrees.
Only love sees truth.

Why doesn't love deceive? What is it that deceives?

Love is the oneness of God. There is no deceit in oneness.

Deceit comes alive within a splinter of oneness, that has set itself aside by trying to hold onto love, and so then this separated splinter from oneness's tree, starts seeing other splinters everywhere else too, but never do see the one that they have created within themselves.

Do not try to hold onto love.

Let love live in you, by its passing through you, always being refreshed by the new love that's coming in, even as you give it all fully right back out again, without your holding any of it ever back.

There is a verse within the Christian bible that talks about this issue.

This particular translation (from the Weymouth New Testament) even includes the word, "splinter" within it.

The verse comes from the New Testament book of Saint Matthew, and it is from chapter 7, verse 3.

"And why do you look at the splinter in your brother's eye, and not notice the beam which is in your own eye?"

Why deceit can be a tempting prospect at times

Nothing is ever more honest that being who you are, and so being your real self.

Honesty is a permanent part of who you really are.

Love is honesty living in you as you.

When you do not love, you are being dishonest both to yourself and to God and to all other souls as well. Dishonesty never stops at just deceiving itself, it always affects all else and all contacts that it makes. All is connected at all times.

Why do we allow ourselves to be deceived by others?

Deceit meets you, when you meet it.

This means that if deceit is a part of you psyche, the deceiver will hook his deceit to this, and catch you then with his deceit. Let honesty be your badge, and let no deceit live in you, at any time.

This is the way to beat the deceiver, by not allowing him to attach his deceit to you anywhere at all.

"Integrity is the lifeblood of democracy. Deceit is a poison in its veins."

This is a quote by a politician. It is one from Edward Kennedy (1932 to 2009), an American politician.

He got it right here though. Deceit poisons both the deceived and the deceiver. The only antidote is love.

Sadly , the Deceiver is a master of his craft , and many fall for his cunning without realizing they have done so , spirited .
We have to stick very closely to the One who gives us discernment in every situation my friend
God bless you today
