Conceit and Arrogance, self formed or encouraged by others, always lead to a fall.

Crown over head?

Who really placed a crown over her head?'
No one knows.
Born as a beautiful girl, she must have always been celebrated,
People were happy to be associated with her,
But all the attention she received made her haughty.
Soon her true friends left her, she had only a few admirers
Most of whom talked badly about her behind her back.
'When will she realize that true beauty lies within and
Walk on the floor like every other girl?'
God only knows.

He thought he was the best until ...

He was a healthy person,
He thought he was one of the fittest
Till he saw his colleague who went to gym every day.
His colleague thought he was one of the fittest,
Till he saw a new gym trainer who could lift big weights.
The gym trainer thought he was one of the fittest
Till he saw a weight-lifter who won an Olympic medal....
