Moving on can be hard. So let go of the the sadness and remember the happiness that once was. Someday that happiness will enter your life don't let it go unnoticed.

Accepting Goodbye

Eyes to black,
Letters to words.
Felt to fingers,
Each word lingers.

Black words of secrecy,
I walk and think of what should be.
Your long gone.
I'm not me.

Paper rips,
Texts delete,
Long goodbyes,
Tears will dry.

Whiteness stares wearily at my face now.
I know nothing but him.
Your the face I see in every crowd,
The one I dial when I feel proud.

Scents seep through the air,
It's you reminding me of time that's not there.
I feel your whisper on my neck, fingers sweep through my hair,
Warm summer evenings, Water flows by.

Walking in the rain, cold droplets pouring on our faces,
You thank me for everything I bring,
I know I want to for the rest of my life,
Walk in the cold for as long as I can,
Just so long as it's you holding my hand.

Our ignorance grows like flowers
Slowly blooming with no knowing time of existence.
Our faith is tainted our love is breaking.
Departure awaiting our time's ending.
Fingers slip apart, turning back to back.
Our hearts are separated .
But I want to go back.

Three words will last forever,
Say them with conviction,
Swift unsure strokes,
I now know how.

Don't move on in ignorance,
Remember happiness and live in the now.

I must that say
