Prayer is the key.

Prayer is the key to everything. Prayer is communication with God Almighty, our creator. It is the way we as human beings thank God for the blessings, gifts and graces he bestows on us at every moment, the avenue through which we ask God to grant our needs, wants and wishes.

Prayers bring heaven down to us.

We remember God through prayers and God remembers us also. Through the act of praying, people worship and praise God. By the power of prayers and belief, miracles happen, situations are turned around positively. Grace, peace, power is bestowed upon us individuals from heaven.
Prayer can be loud, quiet, in song and other ways. The Bible states that people should pray without ceasing, this means that God wants us to live our lives as a reflection of our prayers. The Lord’s prayer was given to us directly by God in the Bible among other phrases and words which are prayer points for us to dwell on and use to reach heaven.

We need silence and prayer and the appreciation of these values to grow our spiritual and Christian lives,
We do not need to always depend on others to pray for us, we all have the innate ability and gift to pray for ourselves and others.
Prayers are positive words and statements which result in miracles. Prayer changes lives, through prayers our deliverance occurs, our faith and hope in God continue to live and grow in us.
As Christians we must invite God to seal any decisions we make in life, this can only be done through prayers. Prayers enhance and never compromises our faith and beliefs, It gives us the confidence to lives our lives without the attitude of “but”. Prayers give the ability to measure what is right and wrong and to do the right things.
All of us face challenges daily and it is only with perseverance, confession, contemplation and a deep prayer life are we able to overcome.
I pray that we all continue to find and keep our faith.

Good morning WOGIAM. I want to add to one thing that you wrote, "...the avenue through which we ask God to grant our needs, wants and wishes." God has only promised us that He will meet our needs, He never promised to meet or grant our every wish or want. The truth is that God may not make a way for us to have everything we wish for or want for many reasons, the things we wish for or want may not be things that we need or they may not be things that are good for us to have, just to name a couple. Too many Christians become disenchanted with God because they don't understand the differences between needs and wants and expect God to meet both simply because they ask God for them in prayer and God doesn't grant them their wants and wishes. One has to be very careful how one uses Phillipians 4:19 And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. The key word in this verse is "needs", not wishes or wants.

This is very true. The book of James summed it up by saying thst people have wars and quarrels because the want something. If the don't have it, the fight to get it.
Thanks for elaborating on this point of prayer.

Yes fervent prayer to GOD for things we acutely need is the KEY. I hope you and Jerry Walch will agree to this. Keep up!

prayer is not an act it is an expression towards life that of gratitude,it is the realization of one's blessings and utter dependence on the source call it God,krishna,Allah or what you like.

I think human mind is capable of getting accustomed to some routines. Then the mind wanders. So prayer should be something new every now and then. Today there is a new fruit on tree. Thank you god. Today I have a nice fruit on my table, thank you god. That kind. If we sit and say dear god you are so great, and almighty, your kingdom and save us from evil...unless we have our heart and soul in our father that would not be prayer, it would be a ritual.
