Time will wait for nothing. A poem about the progression and change around us but how you can still hold onto happy memories.

Poem: Proud Red Door

Proud red door still bold, still strong
Standing firm amongst fallen bricks and broken sticks.

Proud red door still bright, still in sight
Never did I imagine here I would stand,
Below proud red door once more.

Proud red door still smiles, still keeps,
Memories behind you, inside you,
If only proud red door could speak once more.

Proud red door do you still hear?
The laughter, the cries
The questions, the answers...

Proud red door why still so proud?
Despite all that has gone,
All that was left behind.
You are still proud red door still remaining, never changing
I am Proud of Proud red door.
