Quiet Moment

A moment in time when the outside world cease to exist

Quiet Moment

Lost in thought
Remembering a moment in time
When dreams were oh so sweet
Smiles were bright
You hung the moon
Letting your mind set sail
To a time and place
Where quiet moments live forever

Fallen

Twisting in the wind
Demolished
Broken pieces scattered
Like sand in the hour glass
Time is running out
Fallen wings
Lying in the dust
Exposed
Withering in the elements
Disintegrating
Gone

It's a Crying Shame

For crying out loud
Look at me
Yes, I'm cute
But where is my dignity
I am standing in a glass
For goodness sakes

The Last Race

He ran a good race
He didn't know it would be his last
Maybe he would not have run so fast that day
If he had known it was all to end at the prime of his life
While he was running, death caught up with him
Maybe he knew what no one else had known
Time had run out, and he was running his last race
