Rain, Rain and Cleaning

Today has been rainy and I've been stuck inside as the outside temperatures dropped.

My View

Today's view is of a wet road, and water standing in spots on the ground as the rain waters my plants. I only had to move my pepper plant onto the porch because the wind knocked it over. My window is open with a fan in it to keep the temperature in the house down while I clean.

How Did I Spend My Day?
I knocked a dozen things off of my list of things that had to be done around the house. My child's room is almost clean, I managed to get everything out from under her bed at least. I even got a few things out from under my bed and hand washed some clothes. There are some trash bags full (mostly small) and ready to be taken out when the weather permits.

I managed a single article, and edits on two more. They have been rejected for not being specific enough a number of times, but I am stubborn and determined.

Gift Cards
I managed a few minutes to work on earning gift cards to ensure that I have room in my budget at a later date when money gets tighter.

My Phone
I disabled purchases from it so my daughter would not order games without asking. The screen is still cracked so I am in search of someone to replace it. I am hoping for a place close by or one that can come to me without it being too expensive. I am attempting to set aside a little bit of money aside for a couple of months in case I end up having to pay the $149 and get the phone replaced.

The rain allowed me to get some of the things that I needed to get done accomplished. I have only spoken to one friend today. I have not sent messages or text out to anyone else to prevent myself from getting distracted as I mark off the items on my list.

Rainy days are productive days for me when I don't give into the urge to sleep through them.

Every turn in weather is a hint and an opportunity to get things done that are crying for attention!

Interesting read, thanks Laurie - siva
