This is another of the works my friend and I are making public and collaborating on...do enjoy!

Razor Mirror (fourth Jasmine)

Oh so precious
with an appetite
a love for life
leave it alone
don’t live in the past
hugs and kisses
(did she say ass?)
Determination now
mind set to forward.
But where to go?
But what to do?
Maybe the question herein should rather be who?
pretty
pretty
how many doors will that open
in a man’s world
But is it really?
A bow from the brow
curtsey
if you please
In the back of the mind
rests the disease
creeps and crawls
where she can’t see
in the blind spot
a twisted reality
it whispers...
ever so softly
mistaken for thought
rots what ought to be
in the mirror
glimpses of loathing
hates herself
thoughts mutilate her self
esteem plummets
but she’s beautiful
wears the mask
difficult tasks that ask the self
what’s the point?

Aspiring young author that just loves to write :) I have two books out now! 'Doing Something Right', being the most recent. I wrote primarily for my children and am sure anyone can relate to it :)
