This is a riddle I have written a few years ago for classroom use. Give it a try and enjoy it.

Riddle

Let us suppose I gave you a gun
And not for hunt but just for fun

And suppose I took you to a tree
On which I put exactly three

Colored birds; (two are brown)
And asked you to shoot one down.

Which you did! And now stop,
How many remains on the top?

I had awarded the first student who got the answer right with a high mark. Here, perhaps, a high mark would not be allowed on the scale. So, it would be fair if I offer a complete review of a few pages of the first wikinutter who gets the answer right...

P.S. the reference for the photo:

You put the birds in a "tree", not on a "top" so there are none remaqining on the "Top."
