Salem Coach Inn
The light snow, predicted for Bedford, is now turning into a mini blizzard. Eric will have to stop over at a motel somewhere; he has enough fuel to get to the Bedford Motel where he is heading for, strangely though, The further he drives, the heavier the snow seems to be falling. He will have to find somewhere closer to sleep the night.

The Turn-off To Salem
Up ahead, he sees a road sign and a turn-off to Salem 2 miles ahead he decides to take it. Gradually the snow seems to be easing up as he draws up at the Salem Coach Inn on the outskirts of the town. He has never been to Salem before.
The three story building is strangely in darkness, for such an early hour and the standard neon Motel sign is conspicuously absent. In the pale light of the full moon, he gets out of his car and walks toward the front door, the crisp night air sends a shiver down his spine.
"Take One Of Those." She said
He is about to knock, when the door suddenly swings inward. In the pale moonlight, her figure etched against the background of candescent lamplight, radiating from some old kerosene funnel lamps behind her, he gasps, as he drinks in the incredible beauty of the young woman standing in front of him.”I, um, would like a room for the night, please.” He says, embarrassed by his shameless staring at her.
Without speaking a word, she turns around, crosses a lamp lit foyer and walks towards a row of solid brass antique lamps, he follows her inside. “Take one of those.” She points to a few lit lamps, This is very quaint, he thinks, as he holds one of the lamps in his left hand, carrying an overnight bag in his right hand. The woman now stands in front of an old mahogany door and with a slender, manicured hand, she points towards it:”This room is yours.” she says in an almost inaudible voice. He turns the doorknob and goes inside.
We Are Both Trapped In Here Then
The snow has cleared completely now and the full moon is casting an eerie translucent glow on the large old four-poster bed directly in front of him and on the wooden, wardrobe as well as the nightstand next to the bed.
The door slowly swings shut, the woman turns towards him and walks over to where he is standing. A stray moonbeam falls on her almost translucent skin, seductively, she places the palm of her hand lightly against her breast while gazin unashamedly into his eyes, she asks:”Do you want to make love to me? Shocked, he lowers his gaze to where her hand now rests against her full bosom beneath the sheer fabric of her gossamer, white nightdress. She leans closer to him, her full figure now clearly visible in the yellow glow of the warm lamplight coming from the lamp on the pedestal next to the bed “I, Yes, I do, but I shouldn't, I am married.” Eric answers, his voice trailing off.
"Lust, Is A Deadly Sin."
“You, are just like those!” She says and turns toward the wall where the moonlight is coming from. The source of light is a single small window 12 feet above. Gesturing with her hand, he notices some dark objects in the corner and goes closer to see what it is, and what he sees, chills his marrow to the bone.
There are several partially clothed human skeletons in varying stages of decomposition, grotesquely propped up against the wall on the far side of the room. He turns around, and totally shocked, he asks her:"What the hell is going on here? “Lust," she replies, "is a deadly sin, and has its own reward.”.
His eyes shift towards the door. The doorknob is missing!
“Oh, don't bother trying to get out that way,' She says with a smirk. "they have all tried and failed as you can see, there really is no escape.”
“So, I guess, we are both trapped in here then.” Eric remarks.
“No, not both of us, only you.” she answers, as she leaves the room, strolling through the solid brick wall...
