Saved by the Cat
Mia explains why she is a wise cat. Read on to find out more.
Saved by the Cat,
My name is Mia, and I am a three year old tabby cat. I know I am beautiful, everyone says so, and my master, who is such a soft touch, calls me Princess. I make sure I live up to my name. When dinner is ready, my brother black Max hears the call, and he runs in. I prefer to make a grand entrance some five minutes later, haughty and proud, just as a Princess should be. The only problem with that is, Max tried to steal some of my food, he's so greedy, but I squawk loudly, and my master rushes to my defence.
I always know when the family are going away to our other home in Suffolk. Out comes that cat cage, which I have to share with my brother, and he farts, although I do love him. Yesterday morning sure enough, it was there in the lounge and I decided I wasn't ready to go , so I ran off and hid. Who wants to go in a cage on a sunny, day? I ask you. Trouble is, I hid under the sofa, it was the nearest place at the time.
They looked for me
I laughed to myself when I heard them shouting for me, they searched everywhere, and they were both accusing each other of letting me out. Then I heard the food coming out, and I smelt it, but I couldn't give in and come out, now could I ?
Well I might have won the battle, but I didn't win the war, cos there I was stuck under the sofa, and I couldn't go outside, the doors were closed, and our cat flap. Eventually hunger brought me out, but I made sure they didn't know where I came from. As soon as I had eaten I went back into my hiding place, fooled them again !
Then they found me
But this time I had not outsmarted them. They came into the lounge and tipped up the sofa, and there I was hiding underneath. They made such a fuss of me when they picked me up, but I still had to go in the cage with my smelly brother.
I heard them talking on the way, exclaiming how free the Dartford tunnel was, and when we finally arrived in Suffolk, the cage was opened, so me and my brother went out to play Later on the news it was said the .there was a traffic hold up at lunchtime at the tunnel because a heavy good vehicle had shed its load. Apparently people were delayed for two hours or more.
So now my family praised me for holding them up, they were so pleased, and I think they finally realise what a wise cat I am. I am not called Princess for nothing, I know what's best for my family, and now they know it too.!
