Seal of disapproval

Sometimes we forget who we are. A lesson we can all learn with a splash of silly.

You can look at others but don't forget to look at yourself.

I take a walk on a sunny day
Around the block to the bay

The turtles are swimming and talk to me
Not just one but two or three

We discuss the world and how we feel
Then one gets eaten by a seal

The seal is friendly just needed a snack
The other two turtles start to attack

But I offer them all some tasty treats
They stop fighting and say how sweet

We start to discuss pancake making
Then I bring them home to start some baking

Two Turtles me and a seal
Making breakfast yes for real

Then the seal jumps in my pool
He starts yelling like a fool

The turtles get scared and go away
The Seal says I will stay a year and a day

I tell him that he needs to pay rent
He claims his money is all spent

He asks who you think you are
I say I am a human I guess you can’t see far

He says no you’re not you’re a seal like me
Now let’s just go back to the sea

I look at myself in disarray
He is right I am a seal back I go to the bay

There is a moral here I hope you know it
Don’t think you’re above others you’ll reap and sow it

I write for the fun of it. I write about whatever I feel like at the time.
Could be Meatloaf could be sports could be Sunny days could be shorts.
