Only true knowledge can save the world from its disastrous darkness. Where is it?

The Errand

Like a tortoise its limbs, withdraw your senses
My dear son, and move straight towards your aim.
Lean hands may beckon you from pavements
For a few coins or a little food.
Don’t feel pity and stay to serve those wretched,
Though they are your own kith and kin.

The flame

Cross the cities, where historians and poets
Crack their brains to appease warlords vain!

Ignore those vendors, who sell molten gods
Those are numb, but powerful to shed streams of blood!

Utter not, “this is foolish!”, so your tongue is cut
Straight you go to The Himalayan world
Where, in some cave you may still see a small lamp
Of knowledge, lit by the great ascetics past, flickering

Arise, stop not…

Sacrifice your ghee of life on that little flame
And reach the knowledge, beyond which there is nothing
Realize it, which has no origin or end, to save the world
And like another sun rise with dazzling light!
