Seasons and Sunrises...Circles of Change

Pull up an Adirondack chair and from the back of my woodland garden count with me the sunrises and then finally the wonder of a season's change ...springtime is finally here!

Earth Clock

Antiquity marks a golden pathway
With morning's first rays.
Dawn is seasons' earthly refrain.
As night turns to day,
Forest trees cast dark shadows
Across the soft woodland moss.

Still fragrant with last night's rain,
Earth is a circle of change...

Soul Music

Birds' treetop songs
Lift life's music high
Into the clear depth of the sky,
Giving wings to white clouds and freeing the blue;
That intense soaring hue
Is the feeling of fresh and new.

Still fragrant with last night's rain,
Earth is a circle of change...

Giving Thanks

The spring breeze... a long day working in my garden...
How sweet the woodsome smell of sunshine and trees,
In this lush potent perfume of foliage bloom
Gentle May is the blossom.

Still fragrant with last night's rain,
Earth is a circle of change.

"The woodsome smell of sunshine and trees" - your way with words is unsurpassed, Delicia. You have a way of transporting us to the very midst of experience - sights, smells, visions and all. Just magnificent!

Hello Carol...just came back in from the garden ....everything now is in a wild green frenzy - so very busy getting itself ready to bloom... I can not believe how fast things have grown!...Thunderstorms have circled all around us today- adding to that "hurry up" feeling, a very strange wind blows-then dramatic bursts of sunshine between the fast passing clouds..I am just getting myself a cup of tea and then will from the porch enjoy this rare weather day...so glad you stopped by Carol, many thanks...:0)

Is lovely to visit your Maine environment. Although I live on the Atlantic coast, is foggy today and can recall sunny summer days spent outside of Camden and Bangor, Maine. Enjoy the photos on your pages that depict that greenery so fresh and crisp.. Hope that your summer is going well, Delicia

I love girls…I was beginning to think you had gone underground..to escape the vagaries of the weather!

The birds will always find you -- no matter the change or the color of the wings.

No velocity without change in time, I always say. Good to see you Powers!
