This piece is about the two books I pub published in Createspace and Kindle.

My two books.

I am glad to inform all my friends, relatives, admirers and readers I have published two books THE INCOMPLETE MAN and THE ODD WAYS OF GODS in Createspace and Kindle. The books are priced at $12 in Createspace and $8 in Kindle. For Indian readers they are priced at $8 at Createspace and $4 at Kindle.

The Incomplete Man.

The Imperfect Man is the story of an exceptionally brilliant young man from India, who, poised to take off on a promising career in the corporate world in the USA, finds, by accident, he is dysfunctional. Added to this debilitating and nerve- wrecking doubt, he finds his family falling apart when his wealthy father dies, and his mother severs connections with him. During his stay in the USA, a doctor with an axe to grind against India exploits him, and his secretary, a gold digger, tries to seduce him and hook him. An Indian woman also tries to seduce him in vain. When the recession sets in, he loses his job, returns to India, takes up social work for the betterment of people below the poverty line and succeeds. By a quirk of fate, he gets kidnapped by Maoists, a brand of radical communists believing in its extreme form, who declared war against India. This novel of 70K words tells an engrossing tale full of twists and turns in the life of the protagonist who navigates his life through this turmoil and finally finds love, realizes he is man enough and achieves his premise. This turns some of the Indian concepts of marriage on their head and presents a different point of view. It also deals with ED, a debilitating problem that affects 15% of young men all over the world and how it affects their self-esteem without any scenes of gratuitous sex and the cross cultural problems of Americans of Indian origin. It also contains my trademark dark humor. I am sure the readers will find the book fascinating and an engrossing read. Buy it and enjoy reading it.

The Odd Ways of Gods.

The Odd Ways of Gods is a collection of my blogs published in a few sites in the Internet. These blogs, mostly humorous, have been widely acclaimed and will make you laugh out loud or cry or introspect. Only few of them are India specific and about Hindu Gods. The blogs are in lighter vein and are not meant to offend any believers. Readers may bear in mind I am a devout Hindu.

Self publishing.

Self publishing or Indie publishing is the order of the day. Several books published this way attracted the attention of traditional publishers and were published by them. While publishing in Createspace and kindle, the author can select the size, the cover design and the price of the book.
The way to publish your book is through Wikinut where you can hone your writing skills with the help of a friendly community.

I've been considering going down the path of e-book self-publishing, but it all seems a bit daunting. Would love to learn more about the process.

Kindle is a form of e-publishing. If you go to Createspace, publishing in Kindle will be an easy step forward.
