When you want to be with someone their very being consumes you. They don't always know how you feel about them or the effect they have on you. They encase your very being. You want to be locked away, just you and them.

If I were your prisoner,
Locked in your heart I'd want to be,
Knowing, that caged there,
You'd forever be close to me.
My sentence I would serve.
The stretch I would bear.
For with you as my jailer,
I just would not care.

Together we we'd be quartered.
Visiting times would never pass.
For I'd be attached to your aorta,
Chambered, by a surgical graft.
At the end of my time,
Release, I would not need.
Imprisoned in your heart I'd rather be,
As opposed to being freed.

My poetry tend to veer towards feelings of emotion. Love. Sex. Desire. Most of my verses will reflect these sentiments as I mainly write straight from the heart. 31 Jan 15.
