Serenity

It is in the "quiet of nature" that the "soul speaks, " a simple paraphrasing of philosophic ideas, and perhaps even much more, our very own hopes...

A Promise

There is a place I often go, where I never feel alone.

Silence waits for me here…

I listen to the quiet.
Time stops
I have no fears…

Solace is the wonder of nature-
That very vastness
Stilling the years …

Within me an emptiness is filled;
Not with answers-
But serenity- all consuming.

I hope the grands are doing great, I know the baby must be growing like a weed and you are having a ball watching it happen, I am so happy for you. Tristan will be here until Wednesday, I am so blessed to have these times with him. My dear friend, I might not have been around much lately but I would like you to know, you and your family are always in my thoughts and prayers. As always, thank you for sharing.:)

We have to listen to our soul and reflect on its promptings, but we are increasingly preoccupied with material pursuits. We have no time and behave like teenagers who get carried away. These type of places are Godsend Delicia, make the best of it! As usual great poetry, picture that take us to another level - siva

Oh the bridge-
Who are you connecting to-
Where are you lending your hands-
Are you missing someone-
Someone to hug-
Or trying to render your message-
Message history and time-
Million pains and sorrows-
That drove by-
Or the true stories of those-
Chasing lovers-
Or the dreamers-
and travelers-
Sorrows, agonies, and pain-
That you appeased with rain-
With water and serene.
Only the witness -Only the friend in the distance-
Spread all over you-
With dark days and nights-
Sunny days and fun -
Blue and grey-
The sky.
Hello bridge where are you trying to go?
Leaving me ashore-
Enduring all the pain and happiness-
Alone, all alone, in quiet and serene!

I like the photo and poem of yours. Thank you Delicia.

Ho ho ho ho! You liked it,
you know what somehow you have a poetic heart inside.
I can see it in your pictures- and the feelings you have- soft and passionate, but
in most of the time people might hurt you!
Impassioned!
Never mind.
Keep on with it and
life is like that -
some times cruel and some times fine-
Like a car that you find without any fuel, and calling none-
Days fine, days full-
Like the moon -
Sometimes hazy and other times full.
Anyway the wind blows-
Thanks Delicia.

you love blue
I love blue too
but once in a blue moon
I get blue
are you a Scorpio by any chance
as they all love blue ,
as much as you, ma'am do...

lovely heart touching
serene and soft feeling....
a soothing wave passes across
as I see the blue
and hear soft sounds anew from the distant Hue
the horizon is one such significant
and here's another star page for you...

Roses
roses fade yes ...
but they never die ...
they live in books
till end of time
and
recall the moments since lapsed instantly
as hands claps
they come alive in memory

they have left
no word for me
to describe the beauty,
in brevity
and
tranquility in serenity,
that the poem you so profoundly verse,
tells me
the silence of stillness ,
the blueness of horizon
the distances of souls
the longing
beyond the beyond
all lend silent beauty
to the scene
as you depict
my Dear Lady
the admiration of the poetic world ...
is all that I can pray for thee and
hopefully someday
some one will say
'tis alone is poetry.
