She's Gone Off Her Rocker... this is one i have been playing with for a few days, what inspires me on this is sometimes the things -- not that we think -- but that of which we write and i say to myself -- well she done went off her rocker --- believe it or not i say it about my self too--so as you read everyone can think -- am i writing about you???lol thanks for reading -- enjoy!!

She's Gone Off Her Rocker

a little sanity
can go a long way
shes off her rocker
insane
a sensitive soul
she can dish
but can she take the cruel cold
halfway here
close the windows
close the doors
pull down the blinds
double lock the locks
watch the clock
quiet please
tick tock -tick tock
did ya ever see time fly
ssshhhhhhhh
tick tock -tick tock
zooming right on bye
shes gone off her rocker

Well she done went off her rocker,
lit a torch
that consumed
her lifes sanity
That left her so crazily
alone.

The saddest part is she still wants to go home
But her home isnt home anymore
just a piece of land filled with rubble
no closets filled with pretty clothing
no walls left with the intricate moldings

Well she done went off her rocker
lit a torch
that consumed
her lifes sanity
and left her so crazily
alone.

The saddest part is she still thinks of home
she forgot about the ashes
that burnt to solid black
she forgot her companion
died of a heart attack
her visits are with absence
for one to see her presence

Shes done gone off her rocker
got a little crazy
says she's halfway here!
Close the windows and the doors !
A sensitive soul
but can not take the cruel cold!
And we all get a little wild
But sooner or later reconcile
to the truth and not denial
of reality's fate
which just saturates
lifes daily news

Well she done went off her rocker
cock- a doodle doo--
I heard she flew................................By Debby Glennon

you ride on a silver horse
and rescue me

Deb, maybe I have taken this poem wrong but, it made me laugh, I think it was because, you stated at first it might be about me, the reader and I almost think I am off my rocker at times. Nice read. Thank you for sharing.:)
