A few of my shorter poems plus the first Haiku I've ever written. The actual Haiku contains wordplay with the title of it for those who are confused about why it ends how it does.

Poetry

Again and Again
A belated ‘hello’,
A repeated ‘goodbye’,
That’s how our story
usually goes.

Untitled
The rain slams
against the window
trying to find a way in,
just as my heart slams
against my ribs
trying to find a way out.

Untitled 2
I sometimes lay here
In the enveloping darkness
Thinking of you
And hoping that you do the same.

To Burn - (Haiku)
Sometimes I wonder
looking straight into the sun
what it would be like
