Alot of meantful poems, with great thought and compassion.

Poems.

I Like Noise

I like noise
the sound of dogs in the pound,
The sound of a ball hitting the ground,
The sound clock,
A boy kicking a rock, The crack of Thunder,
The rain on the roof, The little boy's laugh.
I like noise.

Pizza

Pizza has a very significant taste, one like no other. It smells like a delightful platter of meat's and cheese. It's chewy in my mouth and is so, so easy to swollow that it gives me a tringle inside. When i bite it, over and over, the cheese stretches out but it still doesn't break. The crust is nice and crunchy, it crumbles in my mouth. Pizza is so yum, i wish a had another one.

Senses
As i walke
On that windy day,
I heard the wind
Woosh the leaves away.
I felt the wind
Sweep through my wavey blonde hair,
The smell of mown grass
Filled the air.
I saw a bee
Collect nectar from a flower,
But against the wind,
The bee had no power.
So many ways i cab use my senses,
There are no boundries,
There is no limit.

The Plane

As i was flying
On that rainy day,
I heard the thunder
crack the silence.

i felt the cold windows
With my nice warm hands,
The smell of Cooking
Filled the air.

I saw a plate
filled up with stake,
I took a bite
With all my might.

Flying to Queensland
On a big plane,
Enjoying the fun
With everyone.

The School
The tiles are clean like a peice of glass
The lights are dead
the blackboards are bare like white paper
The school, oh bad, plain school.

Silly Sally
Silly sally saw sausages,
So silly sally slapped sausages,
Silly sally suddenly stopped Because,
Silly sally saw the sausages slowy sizzle.

Alarm Clock
The small, black alarm clock
Still and silent like a soldier at night.
It rubs againts my desk, saying " buzzzz."
As i awake, My alarm clock,
Goes back to a soldier, still and silent.

Men you're a weaver of words.
If you keep doing this, I might abdicate the throne so that you can now become not just Mr. Smith but Mr. Wordsmith! I like this!

Hi there,

I'd love to use one of your poems for a voice workshop I'm conducting. I would like, if you had a bit of context and or personal meaning for them. Which would be the best for about 30 Acting students 16-20yr. My main aim is to have something meaningful and interesting but I'd love to get your point of view before I dissect it myself!

Many thanks,

Mary
