Short stories: John meets Satan, and it's only another part of himself, within God

John had some unusual ideas about God, the devil or Satan, and their roles in his life. John cared about what others told him to think about these things of course, but just the same he preferred to find out what his own thinking on these matters really was.

What really fit into the place in his heart that he knew was this truth that God had placed there for only him as him to live uniquely from?

Is the devil just a snake that poisons us with his venom?

"Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them."

This interesting verse comes from the old Testament book of Job. It is from chapter 1, verse 6.

John had always wondered about this verse.

Why was Satan if he was a bad character allowed to re-enter heaven to talk to God, who is totally good?

Also, it mentions the sons of God here, and not just the son.

Has God got many other sons?

In the long distance past, John knew that the Hebrew word for Satan actually just meant an adversity.

In Greek, the word meaning "Diabolos" or devil in English, means to just be distracted or prevented in some way by something being thrown across your path, perhaps just to test you, in some way, as you progress on upon that path.

John had made a careful study of all of these things.

Here was his surprising conclusion:

Satan is a label for anything other than love.

Satan could be called evil if his state was being called one of non-love, and so could anything else if it is existing as anything other than complete and full perfect love, fully loving.

Satan though, and as are all other things, is not evil. Evil too is just a label that we can place on various experiences, or happenings, if we are refusing to see the underlying hand of love that is always still within them.

It is always love that is still ultimately responsible for all of these other things actually
ever occurring.

John thinks more about this concept of evilness

Satan is just another part of God like the rest of us are.

He's on the same journey as we all are.

Satan's also going through God's love on his own journey. There is only love. Everything else is a false perception of what actually is the truth.

He, as are we all, is also learning and growing in the knowledge and wisdom of God's truths by gradually building the consciousness to be able to recognise the truths that previously were only known unconsciously within our hearts.

Any perceived evil is never ever a real evil then at all, but simply our own ego's refusing to allow us to grow, and to allow all of these unconscious truths to become real for ourselves, or in other words self-realised by ourselves.

Evil is a label that we associate with anyone not presently living from God consciousness, or fully consciously living from only love.

Satan is merely the name given to this seemingly lesser state of being.

We are all Satan in this respect, that is until we obtain God conscious realisation, and then we become God by re-joining his oneness, once more again.

Separation is what creates Satan, or the wanting to be separate within ourselves, as
ourselves.

When we give ourselves back to God, we become again God.

This is the paradoxical nature of freedom. We are not free, when we think that we are.

We are only free when we give this artificial separated state of freedom back again to God, and so only then do we then become as free as God is by doing so.

We were always free of course, but now we are consciously free, as well as still being
unconsciously free as well.

Unconsciousness could be said to be the Satan in us until we become conscious of this aspect of God, and so then we lovingly return it consciously into God again.

We become then servants of God, instead of trying to serve ourselves. Serving anything other than God could be described as evil, and anyone doing this could be called an enemy of God in a way, or as a Satan.

In truth though, they are never enemies of God though. They are only ever being enemies to themselves by operating their themselves in this way.

What, or who is Satan?

We are all Satan until we consciously decide to return ourselves to being the God part of God that we always really, always were created and perhaps meant to be.

We become God by returning ourselves into God by consciously loving the Satan that was apparently in us.

This is consciously understanding our apparent separation, but which unconsciously never did ever take place. We see through the illusion of separation by growing our own consciousness.

Consciousness then replaces unconscious ignorance, and perhaps the real truth is that this ignorance is the only real Satan character that has ever existed, but it turns out then that Satan was only ever in effect just our teacher.

Perhaps God has set it all up in this way on purpose, so that we can get to know God, and at the same time, he can get to know the previously unconscious parts of himself through us becoming conscious of ourselves within him.

John knew of course that these thoughts of his would not be accepted by most.

His thoughts satisfied him in their way though, and this was because that he knew in the end, we must always just live from our own truths, and not from some imposed truths stuck upon us by any others.

"You can bend it and twist it... You can misuse and abuse it... But even God cannot change the Truth."

This is a quote from the author Michael Levy.

It is the same with our own truth. God has placed it within us to find and to live from it uniquely being us for him.

We can all live from this truth in a unique way, and this then allows all of us collectively to more better understand it, and so to then build within ourselves a greater wisdom of how to live from it in our own lives.

Once long ago, Satan was not separated as being a separate entity.

God himself was apparently thought to have this Satan side as a part of his own make-up. This part of God would purposely test mankind, and act as a sort of mentor in reverse, because ultimately it was still all a part of man's growth cycle as planned for him by God.

John had met another part of himself within another part of God. Truly we are all one within God. Nothing is separate or ever separated away from him.

thanks for your take on this Stella. This was only a short story.

Everlasting fire, it seems that would need a lot of energy from someone to keep that going...

It is as real as the sun , spirited...
Any closer and we would all burn up ...any further away and we would freeze .
The One who holds the Universe in place is the same One who keeps the everlasting flame burning ..
Hell is not for those who believe in Jesus, and it is not God's will that any should perish .
He made the way to keep us from it , so the choice is ours .
Bless you
