Silhouetted in Blue

We all hope to have made a difference, to have left a legacy in our lifetime. For most of us the small everyday things we do become but a ripple in the pool of humanity, mattering simply to those we have chosen to love.

At the Skyline

How far away the sky...

In the autumn time
Light bends and dances on the treetops,
As each leaf reflects and shines.
Branches reach for the wind;
Stripped raw
Dark silhouettes fill the rustic skyline.

Time at Rest

Subdued by nature, obscured,
Time itself is at rest.
Amid the muted hues,
A winding woodland path
Leads me ever further towards the shore.

Unanswered

Now dangling my feet off the very edge
Of the old boat dock,
I call my name
Just to hear the sound of its own refrain
Echoing across the cove...

The Blue

But there is no answer in reply-
A mere ripple washes onto the rim of the shore.
Profound is the silence....
Lingering blue upon the horizon.

In blue he came to me wiping tears away,
Showing me a reason I needed to stay.
Holding me tenderly and all for the Sun,
He showed me the cleansing second to none.

Pulling back from the enemy who pulled my leaves,
Showing the truth in the One who believes.
For I am his Lady always in blue,
He is my lover who holds me true.

Turning me around in a Blue shimmering dress,
Flowing a veil over my browned tress.
With sparkling diamonds that twinkle with Sun,
Showing the reason why danger does run

Where banks of the river show flow that's true,
That choruses aloud asking where are you.
For I am magical and with Creator Above,
Who blue with his true life whispering Love.

Holding shimmering purple with Green and pink,
Filling in the riotous blue to the brink.
With coolest winds blowing calling out my name,
The birds are now singing for the day's new game.

With copper on glow and shimmering in hue,
Hiding the colour giving all the clue.
For I am the Angel who stands at the door,
I know Nature well and know what's in store.

I hold her gently turning with wisps of White,
With golden allure shimmering at Greater height.
With brown cascades in green on every lined rock,
Showing that the Universe is reeling in shock.

For I have awoken the whole world to see,
This is my true face that is meant to be.
Bringing in the shadows that once cut away,
With allure of nature that's now here to stay.

Breaking the silence with limitless Blue,
Whispering so gently I'll always be true.
Bringing back the desire that rewriting new from Old,
He is just every being with blue, violet Gold.

With Rainbows now smiling as all now sing,
At the One who is Blue did his Wife now bring.
Showing the truth to all we're never alone,
Pushing back just every dark with change in tone.

Where the Clouds began breaking All For Love,
As the feelings we capturing all up Above.
Who knew the truth behind the real true blue,
Who was coming nearer to whisper I Love You.

In blue leaves
Intermingled with the sky...
