Silica

I was thinking about a crowd of people, all kinds and colors of people who were working together to lift a car from an older woman that became trapped under it. I was thinking how no one could of done this by themselves, but when we lift together...miracles happen!

Silica

Silica

I look at myself,
My tiny, little, self,
I watch as my tiny little life
Tumbles and tumbles
Down and down,
Seemingly
Out of control,

The Eyes of God

Like a grain of sand
Tossed in the wind
To irritate within
The eyes of God
I think,
Or to rub raw
Between the toes
Of some stumbling giant.
Thinking myself
Small and insignificant,

A Speck of Sand

Just one little speck
Of sand
Lost
In a pile of billions.
Then I see the seas
And the waves thereof,
And the oceans
And the waves thereof
Each contained
Within their own bounds

By the tiny grains of sand
Gathered on the beach

Lifting as One

And I think
How strong are we,
Each in our own little way

Lifting as one!

I have been writing since the beginning of time it seems, not because I want to write, but because I have too. My favorite form of writing is poetry, all kinds and types of poetry.

This reminds me of a news story I saw not long ago.

A lady had fallen off the platform at a station between the train and the platform, stuck there tightly.

Unbelievably, the people got off the train, and together with those waiting on the platform all pushed against the train together very carefully pushing it away from the lady who was then pulled free.

Yes, we are all in this together, good one Utah Jay.

Unity is strength though I am reminded of anecdotal examples of mothers lifting vehicles to rescue their children. Thanks Utah for this share - siva

Thank you spirited, and yes we really are, we must come together and not listen to those who want to divide us, for they want this for a political means.

Yes Sivar, and thanks, like love, unity is strength. We must come together or fall by our selves...A very lonely thing to think about.
